This project started out life as a pristine, classically styled 2000 Kawasaki W650, imported only two years to the US.
We started by stripping the bike to the bare frame and powder coated it black. We then adapted a Harley XR750 style tail meant for a Sportster and had a custom seat made up for it. We custom fabricated the side panels with cutouts to expose as much of the K&N pod filters as possible. The 2:1 exhaust is fully custom fabricated with stainless steel tubing with a classic megaphone muffler, all cerakoted black and with wrapped headers.
Finishing touches include a custom fabricated front number plate that houses two LED lamps, one for high beam and the other for low. The all-digital dash is made by Motogadget as are the front bar end and rear “Pin” LED turnsignals. The main color of this bike is a rich, metallic blue with bright red tank panels and black side covers. The “W650” logos on the tank, the “8” graphics and “e” logo on the tail were all custom designed and applied by our art department.
