This is not your average 2013 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883! Our customer came to us with the desire to turn his Sportster into a cool street scrambler.
First we ditched the stock cast wheels for classic spoked ones shod with Metzeler Karoo 3 tires in 19 and 17” front and rear respectively. The stock front forks are complemented by Progressive Suspension twin rear shocks with piggy-back reservoirs. The single front brake rotor was updated to a chrome drilled unit squeezed by an upgraded red caliper from the Harley-Davidson parts catalog.
The fuel tank, modified rear fender, oil tank and custom fabricated chin spoiler were all stripped to the bare metal then finished with patina for a rustic look. Additionally, a rust finish was used to do the stripes and Spooky Fast logos on the fuel tank. Finally, all of the bodywork was then powder coated clear and then clear coated again with a conventional high gloss clear.
Finishing touches include scrambler style handlebars, LED headlight, Roland Sands seat and 2:1 exhaust with carbon fiber tip. We also Cerakoted a few of the engine details in Burnt Bronze along with adding bar end mirror and an RSD brake master cylinder.
